Judd Nelson looks unrecognizable in rare outing, Brat Pack star rocks long beard

Actor Judd Nelson shocked fans when he was photographed during a rare public outing in West Hollywood earlier this week. The 66-year-old "Breakfast Club" star was spotted riding his motorcycle around town while sporting a notably long beard and hair tucked under a baseball cap and helmet.

During the ride, Nelson kept things casual in a red and blue flannel shirt, camouflage pants, and a long black coat accessorized with dark sunglasses. His custom motorcycle featured prominent yellow rims and matching accents that drew attention along the California roadside.

Nelson rose to international fame during the 1980s as a core member of the legendary "Brat Pack", a term coined in a 1985 New York Magazine article describing young breakout stars of hits like 'St. Elmo's Fire' and "The Breakfast Club".

Despite his iconic status from the decade, Nelson has previously expressed mixed feelings about the famous moniker. In a 2024 interview, he remarked on the label, stating, "They kind of portrayed my generation of actors as being entitled and irresponsible and unprofessional, whereas my experience was everyone was on time."

Refusing to participate in the 2024 retrospective documentary "Brats" produced by former co-star Andrew McCarthy, Nelson chose to distance himself from the brand. He declined involvement by questioning the validity of the label, asking, 'How can we be experts on something that didn't ever really exist?'
