Trump Pledges 500 Million Dollars From MAGA Inc., Boosts GOP Midterms

President Donald Trump stated Friday in the Oval Office that he plans to deploy up to $500 million from his political network to secure Republican victories in the November midterm elections. With roughly two months remaining before voters head to the polls, the financial injection aims to bolster competitive House and Senate races nationwide.

Federal Election Commission filings show MAGA Inc. held $403.45 million in cash on hand as of July 31, having spent only about $21 million since the beginning of 2025. Despite spending sparingly thus far, the super PAC's formidable financial reserves surpass the individual cash holdings of any major national party committee.

'I think I have like close to a billion dollars in the super PAC, and I'm allocating probably four or $500 million,' Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. 'We're going to spend a lot of money because we don't want to lose our country.'

Although Trump characterized the war chest as money he controls, MAGA Inc. operates as an unauthorized hybrid PAC that accepts unlimited non-contribution account donations for independent expenditures. The group recently funded a battleground event in Michigan featuring Vice President JD Vance and plans to extend localized support to vulnerable incumbents like Senator Dan Sullivan.

Federal election regulations do not require MAGA Inc. to exhaust its entire balance during the 2026 cycle, allowing surplus funds to roll over into future political campaigns or 2028 election efforts.
