Hollywood Stars Mark 25th Anniversary Of 9/11 With Emotional Tributes

Hollywood and the nation paused on Friday to mark the solemn 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, honoring the 2,977 people who lost their lives. Celebrities across the entertainment industry shared personal reflections, moving tributes, and messages of remembrance on social media for the milestone anniversary.

Mark Wahlberg posted an Instagram video featuring an American flag waving in the wind to mark the somber day. Meanwhile, Martha Stewart offered a deeply personal recollection of being stranded in Tokyo during the 2001 attacks and finding unexpected solace at a Japanese temple designed by the same architect as the World Trade Center.

"As we entered the deserted temple the organ played America the Beautiful for us, and we all cried for the people lost that day," recalled Stewart of her emotional experience abroad.
